For current listings in and around the High Park Neighbourhood ... Click here

High Park North's boundaries are Runnymede Rd running north south on the west, Keele, to the west, Annette St. running east west to the north and Bloor St. W to the south.

Housing in High Park North is mostly residential semi-detached, amongst which are several high-rise apartment buildings which were built after the development of the Bloor - Danforth subway line. The majority of the homes were built in the early 1900's.

Parks and Recreation:

High Park residents are very lucky to be near the largest of Toronto's downtown city parks; High Park, it's entrance being just to the eastwards on Bloor. St. W. There is no shortage of recreational activities to get you and the family involved in here. Everything ranging from lovely walks through the Chinese gardens, down by the waterfront of Grenadier Pond, to the Mini Zoo, to the The Jamie Bell Adventure park and the many sports facilities which the park has, for baseball, tennis, swimming pool, ice skating etc etc.  here's a link to the sports page for High Park: Link

To the east of High Park the  41 Keele Bus run north from the Keele Subway stop on the Bloor - Danforth Subway line.

The 26 Dupont bus east west on Annette towards Dupont. The 71 Runnymede Bus runs north from the Runnymede Stop on the Bloor - Danforth Subway line, and of course running east west to the south end of High Park is the Bloor - Danforth Subway line.

Shopping and Restaurants:

There are virtually no shops and restaurants in the High Park area other than a few just east of Bloor and Keele. However, the shortage in High Park North proper is not really a problem as the neighbouring Bloor West Village has one of the most vibrant areas for shopping and all sorts of dining. Just head along Bloor St. W. towards Jane St. and you'll be amazed by the selection of smaller family owned type stores. Here is an excellent website that you can type in any address in the city and you can select to view various amenities in an area:
